The U-tube is mainly used to replace the core of the U-tube heat exchanger. Due to the structural limitation of the U tube heat exchanger, it is easy to block and difficult to clean at the U-shaped corner. What is U Tube Heat Exchanger?

There are 3 types of shell and tube heat exchanger. The easiest one is Fixed Tube Heat Exchanger. It has simple structure and low technical requirements, but it can not stand high temperature difference for shell side and tube side.
In order to solve the problem of temperature differential stress , Floating Head Heat exchanger is designed. However, since its structure is too complex, the production cost is so much higher than Fixed Tube Heat Exchanger. For this reason, it's not widely used like Fixed Tube Heat Exchanger.
Compared with Fixed Tube Heat Exchanger and Floating Head Heat Exchanger, U Tube Heat Exchanger has medium production cost however it could erase the temperature differential stress as well. It is widely used in different industrial fields. As it's the most cost-efficient one, it has larger market than Floating Head Heat Exchanger.
